Lisa has made over 14,500 appearances before the courts she serves.
Lisa Graduated with Honours from Seneca College, Court and Tribunal Agent Program (Paralegal Program) in 2001. Lisa is the 1946th person in Ontario to be granted a license to provide legal services by the Law Society of Ontario (formerly the Law Society of Upper Canada ). Being one of the first wave of 2000 licensees tracking the first steps of her chosen profession, Lisa has built a reputation of honesty, integrity, and fairness to all. Lisa has made over 14,500 appearances before the courts and tribunals she serves.
Ms. Barder has gained her legal knowledge and expertise in fast-paced intense work environments. Lisa has worked in high-volume corporate environments in private, public and not-for-profit sectors, law firms and professional organizations, and spent several years in private practice. Moreover, Lisa has over 4 years of experience as a part-time legal instructor at Colleges such as Sheridan College, and career colleges such as Evergreen College and Everest College.

Lisa Barder has worked as an educator for 4 years, teaching the Paralegal Program at Sheridan College, Everest College, the Canadian Business College, and the Legal Assistant program at Evergreen College. Ms. Barder’s teaching experience is diverse, having prepared for and instructed students in subjects of professionalism, civil litigation (small claims court), administrative law, provincial offences, law of torts, evidence, advocacy, family law, corporate law, real estate law, wills and estates, SABS, Trust accounting, Microcomputers, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook, and legal software courses, including PC Law, Divorcemate, Terraview and Time Matters.
